If you have a car accident and your dog or cat is injured, should your insurance company provide coverage? Farmer's Insurance is testing a pilot system in Arizona that would cover domestic pets if they are injured while you are driving with them in the car. California has not yet decided if this will be made available, but here in Santa Clarita drivers have already begun to make up their minds.
What do you think? Should your pet be covered if injured during a car accident? And what about restraining your pet while they are riding in the car?
