The 2008 Man of the Year is Carl Goldman, owner of our local radio station here in Santa Clarita, KHTS, as well as the head of the SCV Disaster Coalition. When I passed this title on to him a couple of weeks ago, it felt good to know that Carl will be there to represent us in the coming year.

Judy Penman was named the 2008 Woman of the Year. She is active in Zonta, on the board of the Circle of Hope, and also volunteers at the COC Performing Arts Center, among other things.
