Homeowners in Santa Clarita Want Their Insurance Agent To Listen To Them
As the holidays draw closer I am reminded of something my mother used to tell me as a child. Actually, she still reminds me of this sometimes.
"You have two ears and one mouth for a good reason."
This means, of course, that we all need to be better listeners. Speaking less and listening more will improve your relationships immensely. If you find yourself in a group of people where everyone is talking over each other, step back and just listen.
How does this relate to insurance? My clients tell me that I am a good listener. They call me to discuss their homeowner's and auto insurance needs and I just let them talk. They want to share their experiences with me so that I can provide them with a policy that is just right for them. I learn more from listening than I ever could by talking.
