Many people decide to raise the deductible on their auto insurance to save money on their premium. This may or may not be the right strategy for you. If you drive an older automobile that has a low replacement value and is not likely to be stolen or damaged, you may consider raising your deductible on the comprehensive portion of your policy. This would make sense if you keep the car in your garage and do not leave it regularly parked on the street or at a shopping mall.
However, if your car is frequently parked in an area that is one of high traffic, you may want to think twice before making changes to your policy. If you would like to discuss this, or any other insurance matter, feel free to contact me to discuss your personal situation. All conversations are held in strict confidence. I am here to serve you and your needs.
